For a couple of years, Lauren and I have been shooting and creating interesting textures that we like to apply on a few images from each wedding. Lauren and I were going through our most recent wedding, Tim and Sari, and thought there were some good candidates for fine art textures. Once I started, I couldn't stop!
Here are a few examples:
We had it all. Rain, sun, St.Bernard, Harley (or close), crazy shoes, wine spilled INSIDE my camera, and most of all, a huge dose of love. Beautiful people, beautiful love.
This was one of the funnest weddings we've been a part of. People from all over the nation (and I think Asia as well) came to be a part of Tim and Sari's day.
The two have been together a long time, and I've heard it said more than once, it's about time. It was time, and it was perfect.
Walking away from this wedding I could understand why Tim and Sari had people from all over, even missing their own college graduations, come and share their day. Tim and Sari are magnetic, they're the kind of people you want to hang with, they're the kind of people you never forget.
The ceremony was held at Sari's parent's house in Wigi Creek, the reception at the club house. Despite the rain, despite a slight issue with downloading and opening the document that held the vows, it was all perfect. Some of the most beautiful vows we've heard.
The wedding party, which I believe to be between16-18, not including two dogs, was eclectic and charming. If I were to cast a wedding party for a movie, I'd call them all.
I fell in love with my beautiful wife all over again, shooting this wedding reminded me that it's about nothing else but love.
Thank you Tim, Sari, Evi, Mint Events and Wigi. Wow.
We were stoked to do a shoot for our very talented friend Katie who is launching a business in make-up design. She's currently undergoing a branding process and needed some images for marketing. Here are some images from the first of what will likely be three shoots...(clothing provided by Vanilla.)
